As a guest of the hotel on several occasions, it has always impressed me on hoe the hotel has consistently managed the quality of their operations despite the biggest hotel and convention center in the island. The hotel boasts of 195 air-conditioned rooms that are fully and tastefully furnished with high quality fixtures and amenities expected of a triple A property.
I was pleased to discover that my notebook computer had seamless wireless connection with resort’s Wi-fi Internet service when I tried what was claimed in their fact sheet. I later on discovered that the resort was fully “wired” to service what their upwardly mobile and technically savvy guests would consider a big come on when selecting places to stay on the island. What’s more interesting is it is free for guests checked-in at the resort. Now this is really what a great vacation should provide, the backdrop of what could possibly be the best beach in the world, coupled with the trappings of 21st century life after all, how does one exist without the internet nowadays.
Selected rooms overlook the immaculate white beach. Only a few steps away from the beach and the crystalline waters of Boracay, the resort hotel has two well maintained swimming pools for use for the both children and adults. It is set amidst a lush landscaped garden and gazebo making it an ideal place to relax alone, with friends or loved ones. I could even hold small intimate cocktails with sunset as backdrop for those hotshot corporate wheeling and dealings. This is in stark contrast to the natural surroundings of the island that have traditionally been challenged by the total lack of facilities during its first years of discovery when the only the backpacker and lost tourist held sway in the island. Certainly a far cry from the home stay setups of the olden days.
For the business executives, a convention center, which is reputably the biggest in the island, is available for important corporate functions. You know that there is an activity going on the resort as there are many people wither wearing the same color and outfit, different from the resort clad guests of the hotel. The convention center is available for important corporate functions. It can accommodate 650 people while the smaller rooms are ideal for more intimate events. These modern function rooms are all equipped with modern audio-video facilities. These restaurants and two bars grace the premises. Adorned in well-appointed amenities as well, any of these outlets are places to experience and occasions to celebrate. The wonderful thing about having a conference on the island is that you are not restricted by the usual demands of conferences such as the ubiquitous barong or coat and tie, although you would feel right at home wearing these within the hotel’s environs, but instead, it can be a tropical themed conference, with loud flower patterns announcing your little meeting.
It is not surprising that Boracay regency Beach Resort and Convention Center is slowly establishing itself as one of the island’s most well known destination by itself to meet anyone visiting the island. Its dominating presence presents the island with its first truly world-class accommodation amidst the rustic beauty of Boracay. Any world weary traveler, regardless of how many wonderful places they’ve been, always look forward to visiting a tropical isle with all the trappings of modern life.
